How to tie your towel wrap skirt
It takes about five seconds once you have done it once. Here it is written out, step by step.
- Start with the tag at the back. Hold the wrap around your waist so the sizing tag sits behind you.
- Bring the left side across first. That is the side without the pocket.
- Bring the right side over the top of it. The pocket side finishes on the outside, where you can reach it.
- Take the two rope ties behind your back. One in each hand, wrapping around your waist.
- Bring them back to the front and tie a bow. Snug enough to stay put, loose enough to sit comfortably.
Fit tips
- Where you tie it on your waist changes the length. Higher sits shorter, lower sits longer.
- S/M fits waists of roughly 24" to 34". M/L fits roughly 34" to 44".
- If you are between sizes, or you want more overlap and more length, size up.
- Because it ties with a bow, you can loosen or tighten it through the day without taking it off.
Questions we get
Does the Sullivan have a pocket? It does, and it is a real one. The side pocket is sized for a phone, keys, sunglasses or lip balm, and it is where the shells end up on the walk back. It sits on the right side, which finishes on the outside once the skirt is wrapped and tied.
Can I actually dry off with it? That is the whole idea. It is 100% cotton terry cloth, so it soaks up water on contact and dries you off while you wear it.
How do I wash it? Machine washable, like any other towel.
Which size should I order? Both sizes use the same adjustable wrap design. The size guide has full measurements for the S/M and the M/L.
